The Department of Natural Resources and Mines and the Department of Energy and Water Supply have been combined to create the new Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy.

We will continue to update this website while we work on our new website.

Event sponsorships

Many organisations contact us each year seeking sponsorship. Some important things we consider when looking to support a sponsorship include:

  • value for money
  • effective investment of public resources
  • alignment with the principles and priorities of our department.

As of 1 January, we will have a new sponsorship process, where we will collate and process sponsorship applications twice a year. Organisations seeking sponsorship can apply during the application open times (see below for dates).

Please note: Sponsorship requests submitted outside of the open dates will not be considered for funding support.
