The Department of Natural Resources and Mines and the Department of Energy and Water Supply have been combined to create the new Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy.

We will continue to update this website while we work on our new website.

Our decisions

The department operates within a corporate governance framework. This framework emphasises ethics, openness and public accountability. It is the basis for the department’s overall purpose and sets our objectives. It also guides us in managing our information and resources.

  • General information about decisions made by the department can be found in our annual report.
  • You can access policies and guidelines used to guide the decision-making process.
  • Information on consultations that are currently open for public submission are available from the Queensland Government’s Get Involved website.
  • Public notices are used to inform the community and our stakeholders of decisions and other important information. These are available through related topics on this website.
