Government Land Register

The Government Land Register (GLR) provides online access to the details of all property controlled by Queensland Government departments. The system includes details of leasehold and easement interests, as well as properties that have been declared surplus to requirements. It supports the Queensland Government land transaction policy and the property principles to ensure consistent and relevant property asset information is available to the whole of government.

Government agencies and statutory authorities are required to record and maintain their property portfolio on the system. Government-owned corporations may elect to use the system, but this is not mandatory.

Register for access

Access is restricted to the Queensland Government, statutory authorities and participating government-owned corporations. To obtain access, email the GLR helpdesk.

User training and help

To obtain a copy of the GLR Training Manual, or for advice on creating and managing records, email GLRBusiness@dnrm.qld.gov.au.

Technical help

For any technical enquiries (e.g. new accounts, passwords, error messages), email the GLR helpdesk.

Local authorities

Local authorities cannot access the GLR directly; however, they can receive a regular report listing properties that have been determined to be surplus to the owning departments’ requirements.

To be added to the distribution list, email GLRBusiness@dnrm.qld.gov.au from a council email address.
