Annual report for water resource plans

The Water Act 2000 establishes a statutory planning framework for the sustainable allocation and management of our water resources. In accordance with the requirements of the Act, the Minister is required to prepare an annual report on each water resource plan.

The Minister’s report 2012–13 for Queensland’s water resource plans (PDF, 3.9MB) for the period 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013 is now available. This year’s report is organised by region and includes a summary of plan implementation for 22 water resource plans across the state.

Previous year's reports are available from the library or email: WRPWebCoordinator@dnrm.qld.gov.au.
